Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 11 June 2026

This policy explains how deposits, cancellations, and refunds work for projects and plans delivered by [Onbew — registered legal entity name] (“Onbew”). It is designed to be clear and fair to both sides. Where a signed Service Agreement applies to your project, that agreement’s terms govern; this page summarises our standard approach.

1. Deposits

Most projects begin with a deposit (typically 50% of the project fee). The deposit reserves your build slot and funds the initial work. Once we have begun the build, the deposit is non-refundable, because the work it pays for has started.

2. Cancellation before the build starts

If you cancel before we begin building, we will refund your deposit less a reasonable administrative fee to cover onboarding, scoping, and payment-processing costs. The exact fee, if any, is stated in your Service Agreement.

3. Cancellation during the build

If you cancel after the build has started but before launch, amounts already paid are non-refundable, and any work completed up to that point remains chargeable per the Service Agreement. We will provide the work completed to date where appropriate.

4. After approval & launch

Once you have approved the final website and/or it has been launched, the project fee is non-refundable. Approval indicates the deliverable met the agreed scope.

5. Warranty is not a refund

We typically include a 30-day post-launch warranty covering fixes to defects in what we built. The warranty entitles you to corrections, not a refund, and does not cover new features, content changes, or issues caused by third parties or by changes you make yourself.

6. Maintenance & care plans

Care plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel a plan with 30 days’ notice; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period. We will never hold your website, domain, or content hostage on exit — you own what you have paid for.

7. Add-ons & third-party costs

Amounts paid to third parties on your behalf (such as domain registration, premium fonts, stock media, or paid integrations) are non-refundable once incurred, as we cannot recover them.

8. How to request a refund or cancel

Email hello@onbew.com with your project reference and details. We aim to acknowledge requests within a few business days and to resolve eligible refunds promptly through the original payment method.

9. Chargebacks

Please contact us first — we would much rather resolve any concern directly than through a chargeback, which can delay resolution for both of us.
